Analysis: The second-year tight end finally broke the scoring ice in his career Sunday, bringing in an 11-yard touchdown toss from Ryan Fitzpatrick early in the third quarter for the Dolphins' first touchdown of the game. Analysis: Gesicki was targeted six times for the third consecutive contest Sunday, but -- unlike at other points this season -- he was unable to make the defense pay downfield. The sophomore's stock is rising since there is an obvious concerted effort to get him the ball, but he's been too inconsistent to rely on with just two games of over 50 yards receiving and no scores this season. It'd be a surprise if he much of a step forward against a very good Cleveland pass defense Sunday.

Gesicki hauled in three of his six targets for 28 yards in the team's Week 10 win over the Colts.
Analysis: Gesicki finished second on the team with six targets but failed to work downfield. His longest reception went for just 12 yards, but his performance was undone by a lost fumble on the team's opening drive. He was also responsible for one of Ryan Fitzpatrick's interceptions when he allowed Darius Leonard to wrestle the ball out of his hands. Gesicki's role in the Dolphins' offense appears set, though his ability to turn that into production remains unsteady.

Career game as team finally wins
Gesicki caught all six of his targets for 95 yards in Sunday's 26-18 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Gesicki delivered career highs in both catches and yards. The 2018 second-rounder is still looking for his first career touchdown, but there's still untapped upside in Gesicki, whose tremendous physical traits made scouts take notice at the 2018 combine. If he can build on this performance and deliver a strong second half to his sophomore season, Gesicki would quickly turn into an intriguing sleeper ahead of the 2020 campaign, when Miami will hopefully have much more competent quarterback play.
